Progress Made in Land Realignment Project

 Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- Officials and members of the Land Realignment Shock Brigade in the DPRK have mostly concluded the spring land realignment project planned this year.
The April 22 Land Realignment Shock Brigade set a high goal to finish the spring land realignment project in a short span of time and is advancing in high spirits from the beginning.
The North Hwanghae Provincial Brigade has rationally mobilized mechanized means in conformity with the characteristics of the work of turning dry fields into paddy ones and increased the rate of their operation, thus rezoning a large area of land 1.5 times as fast as in the same period of last year.
The North Phyongan Provincial Brigade completed the spring land realignment project in time by enhancing the enthusiasm for competition between units.
The shock brigade members of the South Hwanghae Provincial Brigade rezoned hundreds of hectares of land in a responsible manner by giving precedence to the preparations such as repairing bulldozers in time.
The Jagang and South Hamgyong provincial brigades are encouraging the bulldozer drivers to enhance their role and carry out all processes while introducing working methods suited to soil conditions. -0-
