Civil Defense Ramps Up Safety Inspections in Mina Pilgrim Camps

   Mina, June 02, 2025, SPA -- The General Directorate of Civil Defense has intensified its inspection tours in Mina, deploying preventive supervision groups to monitor safety requirements at pilgrim camps and to ensure that Hajj and Tawaf institutions strictly adhere to civil defense instructions.
   Civil defense teams in Mina conducted thorough inspections of pilgrim housing facilities, firefighting networks, emergency exits, and rainwater and flood drainage networks, all in coordination with relevant authorities.
   The directorate affirmed that preventive supervision teams will continue to enforce the ban on liquefied gas use in the holy sites. Any materials or cylinders found will be confiscated to ensure the highest levels of safety and protection for pilgrims throughout their stay in the holy site, from the Day of Tarwiyah until the final days of Tashreeq.
