Coal Mining Boosted in DPRK

 Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- The Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex of the DPRK has secured much more deposits of coal by giving priority to tunneling and thus supplied coal to several sectors of national economy.
More than 20 units including the Kim Hyok Youth Shock Brigade of the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine and the An Won Jong-led High-Speed Tunneling Platoon of the Youth Pit in Chonsong Youth Coal Mine have fulfilled their tunneling plans for the first half of the year by May.
Other coal mines have over-fulfilled their tunneling plans through a campaign in which one overtakes, learn from others and swaps experience with them. -0-
