Increased Production at Musan Mining Complex
Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- The Musan Mining Complex in the DPRK has produced over 5 500 tons of more concentrated iron ore than the high plan set by it this year.
The open branch mine has put all the work on a scientific basis, including construction, blasting and excavation, to increase the productivity, and the earth-scraping conveyor station has introduced technical innovation proposals for removing large quantities of overburden to ensure the normal operation of equipment.
The industrial technology institute has made insulating materials needed to the repair process with locally available ones.
The ball branch factory has increased the productivity by 1.2 times while reducing the power consumption by manufacturing an induction furnace and the repairs, and the maintenance branch factory and the bit head branch factory have produced quality bit heads and various kinds of shaft materials.
The large truck drivers of the ore conveying station carried out their daily transport plans, and the workers of other shops increased the operation rate of equipment to treat thousands of tons of crude ore on a daily average. -0-
