Teleconference System in Agricultural Sector

 Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- The teleconference system is actively operated in the agricultural sector of the DPRK.
The teleconference system in the agricultural sector is an IT system by which officials and scientists exchange opinions and take measures on technical issues arising in farm work by connecting the Agricultural Commission, the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, agricultural guidance organs at all levels and farms with computer networks.
It makes it possible to disseminate advanced science and technology among lower-echelon units and discuss and take immediate measures for the issues arising in farming at farms located in mountainous areas as well as in flat areas.
Tele-questioning and answering lectures on farming techniques are being given with dozens of scientific and technological issues arising in agricultural production.
Officials of the Agricultural Commission and scientists of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences are storing the data for helping solve technical problems arising in this year's farming according to sectors and farming processes on the basis of the achievements made in agricultural scientific researches and the high-yield experience in recent years, and disseminating them. -0-
