Jeddah, July 08, 2025, SPA -- Jeddah is preparing to host the 2025 World Pool Championship for the second consecutive year in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event, the most valuable in the history of 9-ball pool, will take place from July 21 to 26 at Green Sports Halls in Jeddah. It is being organized by the Saudi Billiards and Snooker Federation in cooperation with Matchroom and under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport. A total of 128 elite global players will compete in a double-elimination format for a record-breaking total prize pool of $1 million, with $250,000 awarded to the champion.
World No. 1 player Fedor Gorst enters the tournament following a remarkable 2024 season that saw him claim the world title and make history as the youngest player to win two world championships in this category.
