BRICS+ mayors condemn Israeli aggression against Iran

Tehran,IRNA-In a joint statement, the BRICS+ Association of Cities and Municipalities censured the Israeli regime for its crimes against the Iranian nation during the imposed 12-day war, according to the Tehran Municipality.

The association expressed its deep concern over the escalating conflicts in West Asia, particularly the military actions against Iran. These mayors strongly condemned the act of violence that resulted in harm to civilians, damaged infrastructure and peaceful facilities, and threatened regional stability.

They also called on all parties to engage in constructive dialogue. The members of the association expressed support for resolving the crisis in West Asia exclusively through political and diplomatic means. They emphasized that a peaceful resolution is only possible through mutual understanding and respect.

They further urged the international community to intensify diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation and to safeguard human rights. Only through joint action can nations achieve lasting peace and prosperity for all the people of the region, the mayors said.
