Araqchi meets his counterparts in China

Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has met his Kyrgyz, Pakistani, Russian, and Uzbek counterparts Jeenbek Kulubayev, Ishaq Dar, Sergei Lavrov, and Bakhtiyor Saidov on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (S.C.O.) meeting in Tianjin, located in eastern China.

Araqchi left Tehran on Monday, accompanied by a delegation, at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

Earlier, Ishaq Dar in a X message said, “Good to catch up with Foreign Ministers of Iran, Uzbekistan, and Belarus on the sidelines of the SCO CFM in Beijing, just before our joint call on Chinese President Xi at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.”

“Always good to exchange views for strengthening regional understanding and cooperation in such a challenging time,” he added.
