Fourth Meeting of 25th Chongryon Central Committee Held

 Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) -- The fourth meeting of the 25th Central Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) took place at the Central Hall of Chongryon in Tokyo on July 11.
Present there were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman and concurrently director of the Organization Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, vice-chairpersons of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, the chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon, advisers and department directors of the Chongryon Central Committee and the director of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan.
The national anthem of the DPRK was played.

The reporter called for further developing Chongryon into a compatriots-first organization that serves the compatriots faithfully with ten years till its 80th founding anniversary as a new fighting period, true to the letter "Let Us Write a New Great Chapter in the History of the Movement of Koreans in Japan by Carrying Forward the Patriotic Spirit of the Founder Generation" sent by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un to Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of Chongryon.
He ardently called upon all compatriots to devote themselves to carrying out their patriotic duties with extraordinary readiness and thus proudly complete the work of the 25th Central Committee of Chongryon and decorate the 26th Congress of Chongryon to be held next year as a landmark for writing a new history of the movement of Koreans in Japan.
Then speeches were made.
The speakers expressed their determinations to unconditionally attain the goals to the end of the year in order to ensure that the movement of Koreans in Japan enters a new stage of development this year.
