Poem Reciting and Singing of Agricultural Workers and Members of Agricultural Union

 Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- A poem reciting and singing of agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea "Victory Will Be Won Generation after Generation" was held at the Jangchon Hall of Culture in Sadong District, Pyongyang, on Thursday to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
Present there were Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the agricultural union, officials and members of the union and agricultural workers in Pyongyang.
The performers highly praised President Kim Il Sung for performing immortal feats by bringing about victory in the war with his outstanding strategy and tactics and wise leadership and the defenders of the country in the 1950s for displaying their heroic spirit.
Narrative poem "For defence of the country" and song "Advance" impressively showed the transparent spirit of devotedly defending the leader and the staunch spirit of defending the country displayed by the fighters of the People's Army who devoted their youth and lives without hesitation to the one and only motherland.
Hearing a female solo "Victory Mill on Jiktong Pass", the audience recollected the spiritual world of the wartime patriotic farmers who plowed and seeded the fields under the gunfire with the faith that they are sure to win victory as they are led by the President.
Some numbers reflected the aspiration of the agricultural workers to uphold and glorify the motherland with increased grain production by inheriting the fighting spirit of the preceding generations.
The poem reciting and singing, that displayed the revolutionary enthusiasm of agricultural workers and members of the agricultural union, ended with choral poems and choruses "We Are Koreans" and "Dear Father". -0-
