Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory

 Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- The Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory in the DPRK is associated with the leadership exploits of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who makes all efforts to provide the people with a happy life.
Visiting the factory one day in July 2014, Kim Jong Un said that the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il associated with the factory should be deeply implanted in the minds of its employees, stressing the need to put primary efforts into the ideological education to give full play to the spiritual strength of the producers so as to put production on a normal basis and improve the quality of products.
He saw to it that the trademark of shoes produced by the factory was named "Maebongsan" symbolizing the high spirit and victory of the people and service personnel.
Saying that the factory should be completely remodeled in a short span of time to decisively increase the quantity and quality of shoe production and provide the working people with the best working conditions and living environment, he noted that the Workers' Party of Korea would solve all problems directly.
Thanks to the great loving care of Kim Jong Un, the factory completely eliminated its past appearance in a little more than five months and was turned into a model and standard shoe factory of the country which can be proud of in the world.
Later, he visited the factory several times and highly appreciated the successes made by its working class. And he gave precious instructions on producing more and finer shoes popular among the people and making the Maebongsan-trademarked products well-known throughout the country.
True to his noble intention, the factory has developed and produced famous goods favoured by the people for more than ten years and turned into a factory beloved by the people, a factory which is substantially contributing to improving the standard of the people's living. -0-
