Retraining Courses for Teachers in DPRK

 Pyongyang, July 31 (KCNA) -- Teachers' retraining institutes across the DPRK are actively conducting training courses for improving the qualifications of educators.
The Mangyongdae District Teachers' Retraining Institute worked out its plan for the course in a scientific way and is organizing teaching materials research, discussion on teaching, teaching aids production, writing of teaching plans and demonstration lessons in an effective way.
The Taesong and Songyo district teachers' retraining institutes concentrate efforts on ensuring the maximum efficiency of teaching at the basic educational stage and transferring advanced educational methods conducive to improving the students' ability.
The instructors of the Hanggu District Teachers' Retraining Institute in Nampho Municipality are acquiring many-sided knowledge of major subjects and other ones and applying them to teaching, thus increasing the effectiveness of the course.
The Hoechang County Teachers' Retraining Institute and the Songchongang District Teachers' Retraining Institute in Hamhung City are improving the quality of teaching courses for improving teachers' qualifications by putting into concrete shape the contents of the course according to schools and using modern educational means. -0-
