State Library visitors evacuated after anonymous bomb caller

MOSCOW, July 13 (Itar-Tass) -- The visitors and personnel of the
Russian State Library in the centre of Moscow are being evacuated after an
anonymous bomb caller, law enforcement said on Monday.
"An unidentified person called police today and said that an explosive
device had been planted at 3/5, Vozdvizhenka Str. Where the Russian State
Library, formerly Lenin Library, is located," an official said.
"The caller said the explosive should go off in two hours. It was
decided to evacuate the library readers and personnel," he added.
Representatives of all emergency and security services have arrived at
the scene. They are examining the premises of the library.
Police do not rule out that this is a case of "telephone terrorism".
