State Commendations Awarded to Coaches and Technical Guidance Officials

 Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- A meeting for awarding state commendations to coaches and technical guidance officials who contributed to winning the 2024 FIFA U-20 and U-17 women's world cups took place at the Weightlifting Gymnasium in Chongchun Street here on August 5.
Present there were Kim Tok Hun, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, players and coaches.
Kim Tok Hun conveyed a decree of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.
Kim Jong Il Prize was awarded to Ri Kum Suk, coach of the Women's Football Department of the April 25 Players Team.
The title of People's Athlete went to Ri Song Ho, coach of the Wolmido Football Team, Song Sung Gwon, chief coach of the Naegohyang Women's Football Team, Kim Chol Nam, coach of the Women's Football Department of the April 25 Players Team, Ho Sun Hui, football coach of the Amnokgang Sports Team, Ri Hyang Ok and Ra Mi Ae, officials of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, and the title of Merited Athlete to Rim Kun Uk, football coach of the Sports Team of the Ministry of Light Industry, and Sok Hun, coach of the Men's Football Department of the Sobaeksu Players Team. -0-
