Land Management and Forest Restoration Reviewed in DPRK

 Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- A meeting to review the results of the general mobilization for land management in the spring of 2025 and the forest restoration in the first half of 2025 was held at the Cabinet building through a video conferencing on August 13.
Present there were Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, Kim Tok Hun, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Jong Gwan, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kim Kyong Jun, minister of Land and Environment Protection, and other officials of the Cabinet, commissions, ministries, national agencies, and provincial, city and county Party and power organs and relevant sectors.
The meeting heard a report on the results of the general mobilization for land management in the spring of 2025 and the forest restoration in the first half of 2025.
The report referred to the successes made by ministries, national agencies, provinces, cities and counties in the said two undertakings.
The deviations revealed in the undertakings were analyzed.
The meeting called for making substantial progress in the work to provide the people with better living environments by improving the appearance of the land. -0-
