Putin to discuss plan of legislative work with FC leaders
MOSCOW, July 14 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on
Tuesday will hold a meeting with the leadership of the Federation Council
upper house of parliament.
"The main goal of this format that has already become traditional is
to discuss the results of lawmaking work of the house during the spring
session of 209, its interaction with executive power bodies, to adjust
priorities for the second half of the current year," the RF government's
press service reported.
On June 28, Putin held a similar meeting with the leaders of the
factions of the State Duma lower house. They considered in detail a wide
range of problems of the country's socio-economic development, including
the budget issues and anti-crisis actions of the government and a number
of other socially important issues.
"The current meeting participants are expected to raise such important
issues as the federal budget for 2010 and for the period up to 2012, a
draft law on trade, tariffs of natural monopolies, formalisation of
anti-crisis measures, as well as the further improvement of the Russian
legal system," the press service said.
