Gunmen open fire on house of Ingushetia district police chief
NAZRAN, July 14 (Itar-Tass) - Unidentified gunmen at 03:30, Moscow
time, Tuesday, opened fire on the house of chief of the Nazran district
police department on Ingushetia Ali Yandiyev located in Yevloyev Street in
the republic's capital Nazran. The criminals fired assault rifles and an
under-barrel grenade launcher. Nobody was hurt in the attack, but the
house was seriously damaged.
A team of investigators is working at the site of the incident.
Measures to identify and track down the gunmen are being taken.
