RF govt may pass doc on equal access to gas pipe this year-FAS
MOSCOW, July 14 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin
instructed First Vice Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov and Vice Prime Minister
Igor Sechin to resume the work on the resolution on the rules of
non-discriminatory access to gas pipelines, head of the RF Federal
Antimonopoly Service (FAS) Igor Artemyev told journalists on Monday.
According to him, Putin "instructed to return to this issue, and it
made us happy." Artemyev explained that the work on the draft resolution
had been suspended in connection with the economic situation, "but the
situation has stabilised and a decision was made today to continue the
work." The FAS chief also noted that most of the documents have already
been coordinated, there are only Gazprom's remarks on some of them, and
they will be again discussed at meetings with vice prime ministers, after
which a report will be presented to Putin. "It will not happen in one day,
but I hope that the work will be completed this year," the FAS head noted.
He also said that he has information that the resolution on
non-discriminatory access to infrastructures of airports will be signed in
the short run.
