GSR25 Session in Riyadh Highlights Saudi Spectrum Tech Leadership

   Riyadh, September 02, 2025, SPA -- A panel discussion titled “Enabling Commercial and Innovative Uses of the Radio Spectrum,” held today as part of the exhibition accompanying the Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR25), hosted by the Communications, Space and Technology Commission in Riyadh, highlighted Saudi Arabia’s leadership in adopting advanced technologies and fostering environments that improve spectrum efficiency and market value.
   The session discussed modern spectrum policies and their role in supporting commercial growth and fostering innovation, as well as the challenges regulators face in ensuring efficiency, flexibility, and maximizing the benefits of spectrum across sectors.
   Participants underscored their close collaboration with international partners to identify requirements in advance, enabling the development of more flexible and effective regulatory environments.
   They also called for raising awareness among workers and operators on this vital issue, emphasizing that building specialized human capacities represents a cornerstone of a more innovative and sustainable future.
