KHABAROVSK, July 14 (Itar-Tass) - Over 3,000 servicemen, 300 hardware
and 40 jets and helicopters are taking part in the Russian-Chinese drills
Peace Mission 2009, the deputy commander-in-chief of the Russian Ground
Troops, Lieutenant-General Alexander Studenikin said on Tuesday.
Russia's Air Force is represented at the manoeuvres by 22 fighters
and helicopters, including two Il-76 cargo planes, five Su-24 bombers,
five Su-25 strike-fighters, five Su-27 fighters and five Mi-8 helicopters,
he said.
