King Khalid University to Host International Conference on Health Education

Abha, September 11, 2025, SPA -- King Khalid University, represented by the College of Medicine, is set to organize the Second International Conference on Health Interprofessional Education Strategies and Effective Collaborative Practice, under the theme “Bridging the Gap and Measuring Impact,” on October 22–23 at the university's Exhibition and Conference Center in Al-Faraa.
The conference is held in cooperation with the Arab Network for Interprofessional Collaboration and the Saudi Society for Medical Education. It will bring together leading scholars and specialists in medical education, interprofessional health education, and collaborative practice from around the world to discuss the latest developments in joint professional education and healthcare. The event aims to enhance cooperation among health colleges, develop curricula, improve learning outcomes, and raise the efficiency of health practitioners.
The event also seeks to facilitate knowledge exchange, empower stakeholders, promote research collaboration among professionals, develop interprofessional education systems, encourage teamwork across health professions, and establish a strong regulatory framework for interprofessional education and practice. It aligns with the university’s vision and objectives to establish a distinguished center for interprofessional health education and collaborative practice. The conference targets health profession educators, practitioners, and students.
