Universities Raise Effectiveness of Tele-education
Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- True to the Workers' Party of Korea's idea of attaching importance to education, universities in the DPRK are steadily improving the quality of tele-education.
The tele-education faculty of Kim Chaek University of Technology is training technical experts necessary for the development of regional industry.
The faculty is raising the level of tele-lectures by building up enough sci-tech study materials and improving the ability of teachers for question-and-answer session.
In contact with officials of regional-industry factories across the country, it is conducting lectures upon their requests for solving the problems arising in production and management activities and for helping transfer to their employees the sci-tech knowledge suited to their occupations.
Teachers of the tele-education faculty of Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry are enhancing the enthusiasm of students for competition to present sci-tech proposals of key significance in improving business management.
And they are creating and applying profitable and advantageous teaching methods and multimedia programs, thus contributing to raising the level of technical knowledge and skills of the working people who are to work at the regional-industry factories under construction.
The tele-education faculty of Pyongyang University of Medicine is hastening the work to raise the level and ability of teachers in charge of tele-education, drawing up the teaching programs in which research-type teaching and studying methods are applied and updating the examination management system.
