Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2025. /Kabar/. On October 5, during a working visit to the Osh Region, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov attended in the ceremony of raising the national flag on the new flagpole in the central square in Osh, dedicated to City Day. President emphasized that by raising the National Flag to a height of 95 meters in the heart of the city, the celebration of Osh's 3025th anniversary begins.



Sadyr Zhaparov noted that Osh, as the country's second most important city, plays a strategic role in the country's development. This year, nearly 3 billion soms have been allocated from the national budget for Osh's development, covering road construction, equipment upgrades, and the construction of social facilities.
Head of state took part in the opening ceremony of the Bulak Sports and Recreation Complex in Osh. After briefly greeting guests, the head of state symbolically untied the complex's ribbon.

Then, the president was shown the facilities created for athletes, including an Olympic-size swimming pool with demonstration swims, a modern fitness area, and additional recreation and recovery areas. The complex was created through a public-private partnership.
Construction of the complex, which began in July 2024, is now 100 percent complete. The total project cost was 202 million soms. New park named after Barpa Alykulov opened in Osh where head of state cut the ribbon. The park, located along the Ak-Buura River, covers a total area of 26,000 square meters. Construction began in June 2025 and is now fully completed.
