The event featured a panel discussion with CDF Chief Executive Majed bin Abdulmohsen Al-Hugail and Deputy Minister of Cultural Strategies and Policies Albara bin Musaad Alohali. The discussion was moderated by the media director at the Saudi Pavilion in Expo 2025 Osaka Mohammed bin Abdullah AlDahlawi.
In the panel discussion, speakers shed light on Saudi Arabia’s enabling cultural ecosystem, highlighting how Ministry of Culture policies and the CDF’s financial solutions empower the sector, strengthen investor confidence, and ultimately drive sustainable economic and social growth, while showcasing successful models that have laid the groundwork for a thriving ecosystem of investment and entrepreneurship.
This networking event was part of the CDF’s participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, held under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” The fund’s engagement, which runs from April through October, includes panel discussions, interactive experiences, and dedicated retail spaces showcasing products from projects supported by the fund, particularly those within the handicrafts sector.
The CDF’s participation at Expo 2025 Osaka aims to spotlight the Kingdom’s cultural identity, demonstrate the sector’s growth under Saudi Vision 2030, attract global investment, and encourage innovation and entrepreneurship in creative industries.
