Innovative Digital Initiatives Launched at Riyadh International Book Fair

   Riyadh, October 09, 2025, SPA -- The Riyadh International Book Fair 2025 witnessed the launch of several innovative digital initiatives designed to enrich visitors’ experiences and boost their engagement with reading through smart solutions, such as the “smart reading assistant” initiative, which helps visitors discover books that match their individual interests and reading preferences through an interactive AI-powered experience.
   Visitors begin with a brief survey as they explore the fair, and the smart assistant analyzes their responses to provide personalized book recommendations from the available titles.
   The fair also introduced an on-demand book printing service that uses a digital model to ensure speed, efficiency, and cost reduction. Books are printed based on reader demand, eliminating the need for pre-stocked inventory and addressing the issue of sold-out titles.
   Also, the “samawy reader” system was launched to enhance the audiobook experience, offering a rich library of Arabic audio titles with advanced features such as narration speed control, bookmarking, and a sleep timer. These features allow listeners to customize their experience for both enjoyment and learning.
