State Council to discuss youth policy

MOSCOW, July 17 (Itar-Tass) -- The Russian State Council will meet in
the Kremlin on Friday to discuss the national youth policy.
Amur Governor Oleg Kozhemyako and Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy
Minister Vitaly Mutko will deliver the main reports.
The working group that drafted documents for the meeting proposed to
launch the federal Youth of Russia program for 2011-2015. It aims to
develop the innovation potential of the young, to promote patriotic
education and tolerance, support youth initiatives, young families,
experts and scientists. Anti-crisis measures call to expand the network of
youth business schools, consulting centers and the number of grants for
the young to open their own business.
