PM Discusses Bilateral Relations And Ways To Develop Them In Various Fields With The Turkish Ambassador

Baghdad /NINA/ -Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani met with the Turkish Ambassador to discuss bilateral relations and ways to develop them in various fields.
His media office said in a statement that al-Sudani met today, Sunday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan.
The statement added that the meeting addressed bilateral relations and ways to develop them in various fields, in order to achieve security and stability in the region and bring mutual benefit to the two neighboring countries and peoples.
Al-Sudani noted that bilateral relations are witnessing continuous development and progress, given the mutual commitment and interest in continuing cooperation between the two countries, based on the memoranda of understanding and joint agreements that bind them, particularly those related to addressing and regulating water issues and increasing water flows. He added that the executive mechanism for the water cooperation agreement between the two countries was signed.
For his part, the Turkish Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Prime Minister for his interest in developing bilateral relations, emphasizing Turkey's keenness to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation with Iraq in all fields. /End
