Hira Cultural District Expands Hours as Holy Quran Museum Draws Growing Crowds

Makkah, June 10, 2026, SPA -- The Holy Quran Museum in the Hira Cultural District of Makkah continues to attract visitors from the Kingdom and around the world, offering a rich cultural and educational experience that highlights the history and sciences of the Holy Quran while enriching the spiritual journey of pilgrims.
Visitors enjoy a unique journey through the revelation, compilation, preservation, and printing of the Holy Quran across different historical eras. The museum also showcases the efforts made to preserve and disseminate the Quran across the world.
Due to rising demand for its facilities, the Hira Cultural District has expanded visitor access throughout the day. The Holy Quran Museum and the Revelation Exhibition are now open 24 hours a day, except on Fridays, when they are closed from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The extended hours aim to provide greater flexibility for visitors to benefit from the district’s cultural and educational programs.
