Islamic Affairs Ministry Distributes over 374,000 Copies of Holy Quran to Pilgrims Through Jeddah Airport

Jeddah, June 10, 2026, SPA -- The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by its Makkah Region branch, has distributed 374,660 copies of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift of the Holy Quran in various editions to departing pilgrims through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. The distribution has taken place since the start of pilgrims’ departures on Dhu Al-Hijjah 12 through Dhu Al-Hijjah 23, 1447 AH.
The ministry noted that the gift included various editions of the Holy Quran in different sizes, as well as translations of its meanings in more than 80 international languages, enabling pilgrims to benefit from and reflect upon the Holy Quran in their native languages.
The distribution of this gift comes as part of the care the Kingdom extends to pilgrims and reflects its ongoing mission to serve Islam and Muslims.
