WHO Recognizes CBAHI as a Collaborating Center in Healthcare Accreditation

Riyadh, June 18, 2026, SPA -- The World Health Organization (WHO) has designated the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) as a collaborating center for reviewing and implementing healthcare accreditation programs.
This accreditation highlights the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to developing the healthcare sector and improving the quality and efficiency of healthcare services, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Director General of CBAHI Dr. Salem bin Abdullah Al-Wahabi affirmed that the organization's accreditation as a WHO collaborating center reflects the Kingdom's significant progress in healthcare quality.
He added that this designation will contribute to strengthening capacity-building efforts and advancing healthcare accreditation practices that support patient safety and improve the quality of healthcare services at the regional and international levels.
