Fry Released into Paddy Fields

 Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, farms in the DPRK are busy releasing fry into paddy fields amid the growing enthusiasm for introducing green cultivation and fish farming methods.
The construction of spawning stations and the formation of workteams have been pushed forward in each province, city and county. Thus, more than 50 projects were completed and the rest is now being accelerated at the final stage.
Farms in Pyongyang and the west coastal areas including North Phyongan and South Hwanghae provinces started to release fry they bred with much care into paddy fields after they concentrated efforts on the preparations for paddy-field fish breeding.
Agricultural workers in Kangwon and South Hamgyong provinces and other regions, too, are doing such work with enthusiasm to bring about a bumper harvest of rice and fish by introducing green cultivation and fish farming methods. -0-
