Youth and Students in DPRK Meet to Swear Revenge

 Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- Youth and students of the DPRK gathered at the Youth Park Open-Air Theatre in Pyongyang Municipality on June 24 to vow vengeance on the occasion of June 25, the day of struggle against U.S. imperialism.
Present there were officials of the youth league, youth and students. First, a lecturer of the Central Class Education House told them about the thrice-cursed crimes committed by the U.S. imperialists against the Korean people during the Korean War.
The Korean War ignited by the U.S. imperialists was a war of aggression unleashed to stifle the young DPRK in its cradle and realize their ambition for world domination, and it was a war of the most barbarous massacre and destruction unprecedented in the human history of wars, the lecturer said.
Members of the artistic information team of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League sang a song reflecting the will of the young people to make the enemy pay for the blood shed by our people at any cost if the enemy dare to bring clouds of war to hang over this land again and the young people's strong spirit of defending the country.
Then speeches were made.
The speakers said that every time they greet June 25, when the U.S. imperialists ignited the Korean War to inflict an unprecedented holocaust on the DPRK, which was vibrant with the joy of a new life, they are filled with the towering hatred against the U.S. imperialists, the sworn enemy.
Saying that only when we have the might of justice and powerful military strength in the present world where the imperialists' outrageous moves for aggression are rampant, can we defend the destiny of the country and the people, they expressed their resolve to fulfill their mission and duty as members of the new generation of Juche Korea and descendants of the victorious wartime generation in the struggle for comprehensive national rejuvenation with the clear outlook on the arch enemy.
Youth and students loudly shouted slogans for annihilating the enemy, with the immutable will to fight the enemy that the imperialists' aggressive nature never changes even though time passes and that we should mercilessly settle accounts with the enemy by force of arms. -0-
