Two Earthquakes Kill 32 in Caracas

   Caracas, June 25, 2026, SPA -- A total of 32 people were killed, and around 700 were injured yesterday after two powerful earthquakes struck the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, causing widespread destruction across the city and surrounding areas.
   Venezuela’s Acting President Delcy Rodríguez said today that dozens of buildings had collapsed and that the government is working intensively to save as many people as possible.
   According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck about 160 kilometers west of Caracas, followed less than a minute later by a second earthquake measuring 7.5 magnitude.
