Olympic Day Observed in DPRK

 Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- An anti-doping workshop took place at the sportspersons' lodging quarters in Chongchun Street of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, to mark the Olympic Day.
Present there were members of the DPRK Olympic Committee, officials, players and coaches in the field of sports, and officials in the field of sports science, medicine and anti-doping.
The workshop on the theme of "Olympic Day 2026 Olympians and Anti-Doping" dealt with theoretical and practical issues arising in intensifying anti-doping activities in the sports sector.
Speakers explained the main contents of anti-doping activities, the forms of violating anti-doping rule that prevail on a worldwide scale and the way of overcoming them, the caution in the use of medications and nutritional supplements, etc.
The workshop stressed the issues of further strengthening anti-doping. -0-
