Measures to Minimize Damage by Disastrous Abnormal Weather in Nampho Municipality

Agricultural workers in Onchon County are restoring 100-odd pumping stations and conducting management of rice-paddy irrigation in a responsible manner while manuring and cultivating paddy rice in a scientific and technological way.
Farms in Chollima District are spraying growth promoters and bioactivators to provide favorable conditions for the growth of paddy rice.
After grasping the danger-prone spots of tideland farms, the municipality mobilized mechanical means to finish the reinforcement project of the embankment No. 2 of the Kumsong Tideland with over 10 000 cubic meters of stones.
Ryonggang County and Kangso District finished dredging rivers, reinforcing the embankment, and the Onchon Anti-tidal Dyke Station is repairing embankment by introducing efficient working methods.
