Korean Documentary and Science Film Studio Marks Its 80th Founding Anniversary

 Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- The Korean Documentary and Science Film Studio marked its 80th founding anniversary.
Soon after the liberation of Korea, President Kim Il Sung founded the studio despite such difficulties he had to cover the untrodden path of nation building and meticulously guided it so that documentary and science film could creditably discharge its mission in every period and at every stage of the developing revolution.
Chairman Kim Jong Il set forth the original ideas, theories and policies on building Juche-oriented documentary and science films and gave detailed instructions on the orientation and ways for making films ranging from the seed to shooting, editing, expository writing and music programming, and devoted all his efforts to them.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un has energetically guided the work to make greater innovations in the creation of documentary and science films in the period of new historic turn of the Juche revolution.
A commemorative meeting was held at the People's Palace of Culture on June 30.
Present there were officials concerned and officials, creators and employees of the studio.
