Exhibition of Consumer Goods in S. Hwanghae Province of DPRK

 Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK directs efforts to the production of consumer goods.
An exhibition of consumer goods took place in Haeju City with hundreds of thousands of products of 70-odd kinds from over 120 units in the province.
The newly-built regional-industry factories presented products peculiar to their regions.
Seeing cookies, syrup and draft beer produced by the Jaeryong County Foodstuff Factory and the Jangyon County Foodstuff Factory and laundry soap, liquid soap, shampoo, rinse, various kinds of plastic goods and wooden products with improved quality indices produced by the regional-industry factories in Unchon and Paechon counties, the visitors keenly realized the validity and vitality of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy.
The Suyangsan General Foodstuff Factory, the Haeju Schoolchildren's Footwear Factory, the Haeju School Uniform Factory and the Haeju Leather Shoes Factory presented various foodstuffs, shoes and garments suited to the demand and tastes of the people.
Products presented by the Kwail County Foodstuff Factory were appreciated. -0-
