DPRK People Pay Highest Tribute to President Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) -- All the people in the DPRK paid the highest tribute to the memory of President Kim Il Sung, the great sage of the revolution and founder of dignified socialist Korea, on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of his demise.
On July 8, the greatest memorial day of our Party, state and people, the national flags were hoisted at half-mast at institutions and industrial establishments at all levels, farms, universities and all other units across the country.
Working people, service personnel, youth and students visited the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun with their deep reverence for President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and paid high tribute to the great sages of the revolution.
Many people laid flower baskets, bouquets and flowers in the best wishes for immortality at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill and in different parts of the country as well as the mosaics depicting the peerlessly great men.
Officials, Party members, working people, service personnel, youth and students across the country watched documentary films "Our Leader Praised by All People", "Fatherly Leader among Agricultural Workers" and "Brilliant History of Victory Achieved by Self-Reliance" at their workplaces, posts and homes.
Meetings were held in different parts of the country to tell stories about virtues of President Kim Il Sung. The performers praised his personality as the peerlessly great man who always made a ceaseless journey of love and devotion for the people, regarding it as his motto to believe in them as in Heaven. -0-
