"Our National Forum 2026" of Koreans in Japan Held

 Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- "Our National Forum 2026" of Koreans in Japan took place in Chiba Prefecture of Japan on July 5.
Present there were First Vice-Chairman Pak Ku Ho and vice-chairpersons of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), directors and other officials of the Chongryon Central Committee, headquarters chairpersons of Chongryon, officials of the central organizations of Chongryon and its affiliates and the Korean Youth Commercial Association in Japan (Chongsanghoe) and other compatriots.
The forum was held on the theme of "transformation", "re-start of the Korean community and new era of national education".
It analyzed the situation of the Korean community in Japan and national education through speeches and practical research presentation and referred to the tasks and ways for ushering in a golden age of national education through succession and change.
Screened at the forum was a congratulatory video from the homeland and read out was a plan to revitalize the Korean community in Chiba by pooling the inexhaustible strength of compatriots from all walks of life.
Then there was an art performance by compatriots and students.
O Yong Gil, chairman of Chongsanghoe in Chiba Prefecture, called upon the compatriots from all walks of life to become masters and usher in a new era and a bright future of national education without fail by their concerted efforts. -0-
