Interior Minister receives UAE Ambassador

Manama, Dec. 21 (BNA): General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received Fahad Mohammed bin Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Bahrain.

Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah commended the deep-rooted ties between the two countries and peoples, and their continuous development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. He emphasised the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation and coordination, particularly in security.

The meeting also addressed areas of security cooperation and discussed a number of topics that contribute to developing joint work between the two countries.
