Hayy Cinema’s July Program Features Diverse Screenings, Cultural Events

Jeddah, July 11, 2026, SPA -- Hayy Cinema presents a diverse cultural program throughout July 2026, featuring Saudi, Arab, and international productions as part of its role as a platform that promotes cinematic activity, enriches artistic appreciation, and introduces audiences to visual experiences drawn from a wide range of creative schools and styles.
The program includes screenings of A Matter of Life and Death (2025), The Stories (2025), and You Will Die at Twenty (2019), as well as the continuation of the “Timeless Classics and Rendezvous with French Cinema,” featuring the classic film The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964). The line-up offers audiences the opportunity to explore works that examine themes of identity, memory, and human relationships from diverse cultural and artistic perspectives.
The program also marks the launch of “In Short: Film Programme,” featuring a curated selection of short films to support emerging filmmaking talent and encourage creative storytelling. It also continues screenings of films from the third edition of the “Kef Hayyak?” initiative, which documents the local stories of Jeddah's neighborhoods through short documentaries reflecting their cultural and social diversity.
Hayy Cinema goes beyond the concept of a traditional cinema by providing a space that combines film screenings with learning, research, and community engagement. Its facilities include a theatre, a screening hall, a multimedia library, and an educational exhibition.
