Esports World Cup's First Week Concludes with Three Champions Crowned

   Paris, July 14, 2026, SPA -- The first week of the 2026 Esports World Cup, currently underway in Paris through August 23, concluded with the crowning of champions in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Apex Legends, and VALORANT.
   Natus Vincere player DarkAngel claimed the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves title, while Japan's UNLIMIT captured the Apex Legends championship. 100 Thieves secured the VALORANT title after defeating NRG Esports 3-1 in the final.
   Competition in the Dota 2 tournament will continue next week after Team Falcons, Nigma Galaxy, PVISION, and Yandex topped their respective groups.
   In the Esports World Cup Club Championship, Team Vitality leads the standings with 400 points following its performances in VALORANT and Fatal Fury, with the rankings expected to change as competition continues during the tournament's second week.
