AlUla Summer Fruits Season Launches as Part of 'Khayrat AlUla'

AlUla, July 14, 2026, SPA -- The AlUla Summer Fruits Season, part of the, will take place from 16 to 22 July 2026, at the AlManshiyah Farmers' Market. The event aims to showcase the diversity of AlUla's agricultural produce, empower local farmers and productive families, and create greater economic opportunities linked to seasonal crops.
The season will showcase the produce of AlUla's summer fruit farms, with local farmers presenting a variety of crops including figs, grapes, mangoes, and pomegranates. AlUla produces more than 4,900 tons of summer fruits annually, reflecting the quality of its produce and the generations of agricultural expertise preserved by its farming community.
AlUla is home to more than 7,000 farms, where over 5,000 farmers contribute to sustaining agricultural production while passing on farming knowledge and expertise across generations. The governorate is also home to more than 216,000 summer fruit trees, which form a key part of AlUla's diverse agricultural landscape.
The AlManshiyah Farmers' Market provides farmers and productive families with a direct platform to connect with residents and visitors, helping to promote locally grown produce, enhance the economic value of seasonal crops, and support the long-term sustainability of farms and productive families.
The season also introduces visitors to the rich variety of crops cultivated across AlUla Oasis and highlights their connection to the oasis's agricultural heritage and cultural identity, while offering an experience that reflects the enduring relationship between people, farming, and place in AlUla.
The event forms part of the Khayrat AlUla Seasons, organized by the Royal Commission for AlUla as part of its programs to empower farmers, encourage agricultural production, and enhance the economic value of local crops, supporting the long-term sustainability of AlUla's agricultural sector.
