Saudi Arabia Participates in 10th Meeting of Global Alliance for the Implementation of Two-State Solution in Rome

   Rome, July 28, 2026, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in its capacity as Co-Chair of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution alongside the Kingdom of Norway and the European Union, participated in the 10th Meeting of the Global Alliance, hosted by the Italian Republic in Rome, with the participation of member states and international partners.
   The Saudi delegation was headed by Minister Plenipotentiary and Head of the Negotiation Team at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Manal Radwan. In her remarks, she affirmed that the international community now has a comprehensive political framework to advance peace efforts, based on the New York Declaration, United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803, and President Trump’s Comprehensive Peace Plan.
   The Kingdom warned of the widening gap between international efforts and the continued deterioration of the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. It underscored that the devastation and humanitarian suffering in Gaza, the ongoing expansion of settlements, settler violence, military incursions, and unilateral measures in the West Bank are undermining the viability of any path toward restoring stability and achieving peace.
   The Kingdom stressed that lasting peace cannot be achieved through security measures or humanitarian assistance alone, but rather through a comprehensive political process that guarantees the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent and sovereign state, while ensuring security for all and fostering genuine partnership among the peoples of the region and regional integration. It emphasized that this vision, based on the Arab Peace Initiative, the New York Declaration, and the Comprehensive Peace Plan, represents the only realistic path toward achieving security, dignity, and prosperity for all countries in the region.
   The Kingdom reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to work with its international partners, foremost among them the United States, the Italian Republic, members of the Global Alliance, and the Palestinian National Authority, to translate this vision into concrete steps. It emphasized that the next phase requires political will, collective responsibility, and serious implementation to achieve a just, lasting, and comprehensive peace.
