Ministry of Islamic Affairs Concludes Holy Quran Competition in Mali

   Riyadh, July 28, 2026, SPA -- The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, concluded the Holy Quran Competition in the Republic of Mali. The competition was held in cooperation with the High Islamic Council of Mali from July 22 to 25, with 300 male and female contestants from across the country participating.
   The competition featured four categories: memorization of the entire Holy Quran, 10 juz', five juz', and two juz'.
   At the conclusion of the competition, the winners were honored, and prizes and certificates of appreciation were awarded. Members of the judging panels and the cooperating entities were also recognized in appreciation of their efforts in ensuring the competition's success.
   The competition forms part of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance's international programs to promote the memorization of the Holy Quran and encourage its memorizers.
