King Abdulaziz Foundation Celebrates Scholarly Legacy of Historian Al-Humaidan

Riyadh, August 19, 2026, SPA -- The King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), in cooperation with the GCC Society for History and Archaeology, honored late historian Dr. Abdullatif Al-Humaidan during a cultural event held at Darah's headquarters in Riyadh to recognize his distinguished scholarly career and contributions to historical studies.
The event featured two academic sessions reviewing Al-Humaidan's decades-long influence on generations of researchers and students, his academic mentorship, and his extensive impact on enriching historical research and literature across Saudi Arabia.
The occasion also marked the launch of a commemorative book on historical research and studies dedicated to Al-Humaidan, published jointly by Darah and the GCC Society for History and Archaeology in recognition of his enduring academic legacy.
