Royal Reserve Authority Bans Hunting Across Imam Abdulaziz, King Khalid Reserves

Riyadh, August 19, 2026, SPA -- The Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve Development Authority has reiterated the strict ban on hunting within the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve and the King Khalid Royal Reserve, confirming that no hunting licenses have been issued in either area.
The authority stated that enforcing the hunting prohibition is vital to preserving biodiversity, protecting wildlife and natural habitats, and maintaining ecological balance across the two reserves.
The authority emphasized that field surveillance and monitoring teams will track violations and enforce legal penalties against violators in coordination with competent authorities.
