Islamic Affairs Minister Approves King Abdulaziz International Quran Competition Winners

Riyadh, August 20, 2026, SPA -- Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance and General Supervisor of Local and International Competitions Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh approved the names of male and female winners of the 46th edition of the King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran.
The competition was organized by the ministry with the participation of 334 male and female contestants representing 133 countries.
The total prize money amounted to over SAR10 million.
