Team Falcons on Verge of History: Third Consecutive Esports World Cup Title

   Paris, August 22, 2026, SPA -- Team Falcons is on the verge of another historic achievement at the Esports World Cup 2026, as the tournament nears its conclusion, leading the Club Championship standings and aiming to retain their title for the third consecutive year.
   Team Falcons tops the standings with 4,600 points accumulated from 18 tournaments, holding a 200-point margin over AG.AL in second place with 4,400 points. Team Vitality sits third with 2,800 points, ahead of the final Club Championship results to be announced tomorrow, Sunday.
   Team Falcons boasts an impressive record since the inception of the Esports World Cup, winning the inaugural Club Championship in 2024 with 5,665 points, surpassing Team Liquid in second place with 2,545 points, and claiming the $7 million prize.
   Team Falcons retained their Club Championship title for the second consecutive year in 2025 with 5,200 points from 22 tournaments and six podium finishes, securing the same prize.
   The team's participation in the 2026 edition included their victory in Rocket League, which earned them 1,000 points in the Club Championship standings.
   The final Club Championship results will be announced tomorrow, Sunday, August 23, with the Grand Palais in Paris hosting the 2026 edition's cup ceremony. The champion will receive $7 million, and second place $5 million.
