The President of the Republic Affirms the Importance of Exchanging Experiences With the UN to Support Sustainable Development Plans

Baghdad / NINA / -President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid emphasized the importance of coordination, exchanging technical expertise, and utilizing United Nations programs to achieve sustainable development in the country.

During his meeting today, Thursday, with the UN Resident Coordinator, Ghulam Ishaq, Rashid discussed aspects of cooperation between Iraq and the United Nations in line with current priorities, as well as the programs and projects implemented by UN agencies in Iraq.

For his part, the UN Resident Coordinator commended the existing level of cooperation, expressing the organization's readiness to continue and expand joint work between Iraq and the United Nations. /End
